Someone recently sent me a copy of "What I Need" the album you released last year. I must say that I wish you would have jammed with Pam (me). I just wish you hadn't sent me a song involving gambling and grocery stores. You see, my half-brother's cousin was gambling addict. The addiction led to a job at 7-11, which resulted in him once locking himself inside the store for days. He is now a woman.
Bottom line, it brought out bad memories.
You should have submitted "What I Need" because, well, it certainly was. Slinga, you're the best!

Comments: I must agree with the aforementioned Timothy Bodony, in that Tippler breaks it down in a big fat funky way. The colors, the Santana references, the big fat drums, the noodling of smooth yet phunkadelic guitar flavors lapping at my stapes and tympanum. These sounds make my gyrate and feel an urgent need to get on down. Since the days of making highly avant-garde experimental music with the "Greco-Roman" on a cheap four track in his basement and having his grandmother feed me manicotti, I knew that a funky fate awaited all involved.
Make my funk, the Tippler Funk.
